About Making Face Theatre

Making Face Theatre is a new Toronto-based company founded in October of 2006 by Artistic Director, Caitlin Brubacher. The company’s first production, Miss Marker was produced at the SummerWorks Theatre festival as an offsite production and was in the top five of NOW Toronto’s audience choice award. Making Face Theatre has also produced an original piece infusing dance, poetry and theatre, Play Me a Friday Night, as part of Seventh Stage Production’s Whale Riders, in 2007 at Tarragon Theatre. In 2008, Michael Young joined Caitlin as the Associate Producer of Making Face Theatre. Having a long creative history together, we are thrilled to be working together on the development of Making Face Theatre’s newest work, tentatively titled, A Map of the Elephant.
